Ms. Ying, a Mon woman, aged 29 years and 7 months, is a Mon woman who followed her husband to work in Thailand since 2009. She rents a house in Prawet District. She is a housewife. Her husband works alone by pushing an ice cream cart in Bang Na. Khunying found out that she had heart disease while she was being treated for pregnancy at Rajavithi Hospital. The doctor found that she had a ruptured atrial septum. The doctor told her to wait until after delivery to perform surgery. During the pregnancy, she was under the care of a cardiologist and an obstetrician. She gave birth to a healthy and strong daughter.
After giving birth, she felt increasingly tired and could not work at all. So, her family took her back to her home in Burma. When her daughter was 2 years old, she returned to Thailand to undergo surgery to cure her heart disease.
Khunying underwent surgery at Kasemrad Prachachuen Hospital on October 9, 2012. She received assistance from the Pediatric Heart Surgery Foundation. This surgery allowed Khunying to live a normal life and return to raise and take care of her daughter like other mothers.
