Nong Chompoo, the fourth child of Mae Ma Wae, is in kindergarten 2. Her parents separated about 2 years ago. Her mother used to work in Mae Sot, Tak Province, and later moved to work in a factory in Samut Sakhon Province. She currently sells roti and earns 200-300 baht per day.
Nong Chompoo was born at Mahachai Hospital and was diagnosed with heart disease, but did not seek treatment due to her poor financial status.
When she was 7 years old, she felt unwell, had a fever, and was feeling tired. Her mother took her to see a doctor at Samut Sakhon Hospital, who recommended surgery and sent her to request support from the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation, because she did not have any medical benefits.
Nong Chompoo underwent surgery on March 20, 2014 at Kasemrad Prachachuen Hospital, without any expenses. Her mother hoped that after the surgery, she would be able to live and grow up like a normal child and not have to suffer from this disease anymore.
