Boy Rung Ruang is a child with a congenital heart disease that causes cyanosis. He is a cheerful child who smiles and laughs easily. However, he was born into an unfortunate family and had a very pitiful life. His mother brought him to see a doctor at the Queen Sirikit Institute of Child Health (the former Children’s Hospital). While waiting to see a pediatric cardiologist on the 5th floor, his mother went to the bathroom and left him in front of the bathroom, then disappeared. The hospital staff found him and helped take care of him and tried to find his mother, but they could not find him. Therefore, they had to send him to the Pakkret Children’s Shelter in accordance with the law.
He was sent to be raised at the Pakkret Children’s Shelter, with staff from the shelter taking him to see the doctor for checkups and appointments. The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation came to help and performed surgery to treat his congenital heart disease. Before the surgery, he would get tired easily, be short of breath, and not play much. Until he had the surgery on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
After the surgery, his condition improved. His body started to turn red, he ate well, smiled and laughed easily, and was playful. It seemed like he knew he was an orphan. Therefore, he is ready to make himself easy to raise, cheerful, and make everyone who sees him love him.
Currently, Master Rung Ruang still has to be taken care of by the Pakkret Infant Shelter. The volunteers of the shelter act as his mother, taking care of him and bringing him to the foundation for checkups every time. Right now, he also has symptoms of otitis media, so we have to monitor his symptoms continuously. We hope that he will recover soon and be able to meet his family soon.
