The parents were both happy and sad at the same time. They were happy that their son would be cured. He could recover from heart disease and go to school and live like a normal child. But on the other hand, they were also afraid. I was afraid that something would happen to my son, but I wanted him to get better, so I decided to let him have a heart surgery. Before the surgery, he was sick very often. He went to school on and off because he was often sick. But after the surgery, his condition improved a lot. There were obvious changes. He could breathe well, not get tired easily, and he could run and play football.
