Yeshi, a child with congenital heart disease who underwent heart surgery from the “Thai – Bhutan Save Blue Heart” heart surgery project to offer merit to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, is a collaboration between the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation, Rajavithi Hospital, and Kasemrad Prachachuen Hospital. The foundation will be responsible for all surgery expenses. Both hospitals provided assistance by charging a fixed rate, and the Bhutanese government and airlines provided assistance in taking care of the patient’s and their families’ travel arrangements.
Yeshi, her mother, along with the secretary of the Embassy of Bhutan in Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Dr. Manas Pothaporn, Director of Rajavithi Hospital, to express their gratitude at the Kamol Conference Room, Sirindhorn Building, Rajavithi Hospital, and also to check on her condition before returning to Bhutan.
