To celebrate H.M. Queen Sirikit’s birthday on 12 August 2001, PCSF, in co-ordination with Heart Center, Phyathai 2 Hospital, had launched a project to perform operations for 69 children without any expenses. The purposes of this project are:
– To perform operations for 69 children who had congenital heart disease, so they can lead their normal lives
– To celebrate H.M. Queen Sirikit’s birthday
– To develop and enhance staffs’ capacity and abilities of Heart Center
– To hold the training “Pediatric Perfusion” for Heart Center’s nurses
– To celebrate 25th Anniversary of Phyathai Hospital
The first operation took place on 11 September 2001 and completed on 28 May 2002.
