Children who are born with congenital heart disease usually act up with 2 symptoms, which are:
Cyanotic Congenital Heart Disease
This symptom acts up as a result of insufficient blood supply to lungs and cerebral infarction. A brain will be gradually damaged. It could be fatal if venous blood flows into the brain as this will cause brain abscess.
Non-Cyanotic Congenital Heart Disease
This symptom acts up as a result of oversupply blood to lungs which later leads to frequent lung infection and increase pressure in the lun
Children with both symptoms usually have to wait for a long time before an operation, which means they have to suffer from their disabilities and cannot live like other children.
